Motion graphics and brand animation

Animated pieces that make your brand look the size you want to appear — from the logo that opens your videos to the visuals filling a stage screen behind you.

What motion actually does for a small brand

There’s a specific reason a small company with good animated pieces reads as bigger than it is: movement is expensive to fake. A logo that resolves cleanly signals that somebody behind it cares about detail, and that judgment transfers to your product or service before you’ve said a word.

On social there’s a mechanical reason too. A still image competes at a disadvantage against a feed that moves. The first two seconds of motion are what decide whether somebody stops or keeps scrolling — and no amount of good copy underneath fixes a thumb that already moved on.

What we produce

  • Logo reveals and identity in motion: how your brand enters and exits every piece. Built once, used for years.
  • Social media pieces: short ads, promotions and brand content in vertical, square and horizontal.
  • Animated explainers: for when what you sell is hard to describe in words and thirty seconds of animation settles it.
  • Event visuals: stage loops, transitions and backgrounds for concerts, festivals and corporate events.
  • Animated presentations: for when you’re pitching to somebody who sits through ten decks a day.

How we work

  1. Script and storyboard. Before anything gets animated we agree what it says and in what order. This is where corrections are cheap.
  2. Visual style frame. One key frame that fixes palette, type and pace, so you approve the direction before the bulk of the work goes in.
  3. Animation. Full production of the piece, with one round of revisions included.
  4. Multi-format delivery. The same content exported in the ratios you’ll actually publish in — not one file you have to crop yourself.

Where we draw the line with AI

We use AI tools where they genuinely save time — generating backgrounds, extending shots, cleaning audio — but structure, pacing and brand decisions are made by a person. A piece generated end-to-end by AI shows, and it shows badly: it’s the difference between looking current and looking improvised.

If you want to see how we use those tools for volume production, that’s covered under AI-generated content. And if these pieces need somewhere to live, that’s web design.

Frequently asked questions

What do you need from me to start?

Your logo in vector format if you have it, your brand colours and typefaces, and a sense of where the piece will be seen. If you don’t have a brand manual we work with whatever exists and document the decisions, so the next piece stays consistent with this one.

How long is a typical piece?

For social, between 6 and 20 seconds — long enough to say one thing properly. For presentations or events, between 30 seconds and two minutes.

The usual mistake is trying to fit too much in. A 10-second piece people understand beats a 60-second one they abandon at 4.

Do you hand over the editable project files?

We always deliver the finished files in the formats and ratios you need: vertical for stories and reels, square for feed, horizontal for presentations and screens. Editable project files are included when that’s agreed upfront, because it changes how we organise the work.

Do you do visuals for live events?

Yes. Stage backgrounds, transitions, countdowns and loops for corporate events, concerts and festivals. For those we need the exact screen resolution and playback setup well in advance, because it shapes the entire build.
